hahaha I think everyone enjoyed the pinnata ! xD (it was deadly hilarious LOL)
Belle took vids of it! (I'll upload it when I have them!) Plus the picutres too :)
Really glad it was a success (ppl had fun and nothing got damaged)

500th post!

Memories since 2009
Hey! 500th post, so I shall post some pics since 2009 :)
Not much, but looking back there were really beautiful memories.
Friends I don't ever wanna lost contact with, friends I learned so much from
and new friends I have met :)

hahas, my posts went on from happy happy to missing someone so damn badly
breaking down here and there...
growing stronger in God from Sec2 to Sec3
everything turned around, got back whoever was special to me
and met someone new :)

Ok!
Many people have asked me why I can/want/still able to keep a blog updated so frequently after all these years
My answer was Don't know? Fun? More personal? lol

Now my answer is: Cause I seriously cannot express my true feelings vocally.

Hmm...
Many people get gifts for each other. Let's not talk about buying, but making.
Is it the amount of time and effort and money spent to come up with it?
The occasion and surprise that comes out of it?
The person who made it?
or.......?
That makes it really special.

Every rose has its thorn

I tend to set all these aspects of myself
(ok not tend to, I really do)
and realising it really does restricts how you see yourself and how others see you.
HAHA! do you do that? cause don't =.=
Certain things you can actually change, but because you set that aspect of yourself for yourself,
it really limits your ability to change (for the better that is).

Not the same~

You know, you always get this feeling of yearning so badly for someone that you wanna run back.

But you know when you see him, you won't be able to say anything that will make things better

and one thing I can't make sense of is why both of us were able to walk away.


I was observing, and it hit me.
I don't understand why I wasn't able to make you laugh like how the others were able to.

Millennium

The Millennium Trilogy that Larsson wrote is so far the best (crime) books I've ever read (:
BUUUUUUTTTT. Inheritance Cycle is still the ultimate best! Go Christopher Paolini! xD
I can't really sustain books that have continuation unless they're really nice.
(so far only Millennium and Inheritance stole my heart)

Ok...was surfing the net for more of Larsson's other books, can't find...
and JUST realised he is dead ._.
Died at age 50, due to a heart attack for climbing seven flights of stairs to his office.
Really sad...one reason cause I still wanna read his books!!

he's taking a long break from Inheritance so will probably be years before he starts writing again T.T
ahh, going back to Nora Roberts after Larsson's books! There's one waiting for me in the book shelf xP

Born into community

1 Peter 2: 1-12

Living stones are believers, and we grow up in salvation.
Day by day, we become more Christ like (sanctified)
we crave for God like how babies crave for milk!

Stones are of all different shapes and sizes, (coming back to the topic on community) we are inter-dependent on each other (think of a building made of stones in the olden days), that means we are connected to each other

All living stones are meant to be built into a spiritual house 

Christ the cornerstone

Capstone (the middle one)

Cornerstone                                            

Determines direction and position

Capstone

Locks all other stones in position, it is the central supporting piece 

Christ is the cornerstone whom I must be aligned with

Battle & Witness
When Christ is our cornerstone, we can live good lives even when we're living among pagans.
The life of a living stone is a battle and witness for Christ


So why do we need a community? 
Some people can draw out sides of God that I myself cannot. So I can see the other sides of God when I'm in a community (e.g church)! This way, I can have more of God.

Questions 
Q. Why a stone that causes men to stumble?
Jesus was being cultural (e.g. he allowed the prostitute woman to wipe His feet with her hair), thus Pharisees were upset...
People sees God as a King, when Jesus did not portray himself as how people expected a King to be like, they were confused and upset...


Q. Why are we a royal priesthood?
A priest teaches people and pray for the people. Hence we are like a connection between non-believers and God. Hood means a community of people. A community expands to reach others.

Tada! This was what I learnt today! Found it really enriching so posted it up here (:Questions to think about: What kind of living stones are we? and What does community mean? Does it only restrict to churches? and What cornerstone are you built on? Is it Christ? Are your stones aligned? (cause even with a good foundation, your house will still crumble when your stones aren't aligned properly)

Went to Orchard today! xD

hahas it was fun, shop till whole day but definitely still not enough ><

ahh saw a really nice shirt at Levis hahas bet it costs 50 bucks + !!

anyways, ate Ajisan Ramen for lunch and then ice cream ><

YAY and I managed to get my Mother's Day gift! xD gonna surprise her on Sun!

and Belle brought some feminine shaver for her mum hahahas!!

Waaa...have been studying since morning going siao alrdy ._. lol
Anyways, have also been calling people randomly since 3.45 to tell them how sian I am
and making random convos hahas!

Wheeee staying at home to study can make you really fat
all you do is study, go out drink water, go out grab something to eat, laze around, and get distracted...etc.
Seriously after exams, I'm gonna do much better stuff...
Lalala~ I bet you guys are having a better day than me huh? Unless you're studying hardcore like me ><
(well..actually I'm not hardcore studying lurh, I get distracted every 15mins or so)

Talking to myself~

Do you have to make a decision if your heart is torn in two places? Hahas..seems like I'm asking the obvious. You come across a song which makes your mind and heart drift back to the wonderful wonderful memories of the past... And even though things happened along the way, you won't ever wanna change them, because looking back at them make you smile today :) The most wonderful times  that no one can ever feel xP
