So today is Earth Hour!

Did you guys remember to turn off the lights?

Hahas, well I did! 

Luckily my parents remembered to turn them off (arrived home at 9 today)

ahh you learn how to appreciate electricity once more

and NEWS just mentioned that electricity bills are increasing again!

BUMMER.... ==

anyways, I had a great time at Marina Barrage (kite plying and everything)
Glad that bringing Ben along was not bad :)
He enjoyed it^^ and in turn encouraged me to invite others next time too!
Still can't wait for service next week!
It's seems long since I've attended service ><

Lastly, continue saving the environment!

Back to church again! and just wanted to blog bout what I've learnt! :)

Jehovah Nissi -The LORD is my banner

O.o was wondering what it actually meant, and at the end of the day!

I GOT IT! :D

I feel that God being a banner is my IDENTITY.

Meaning?

Well, a banner is very prominent, and everyone would notice it. So we have to show ourselves how we want others to see God. OR portray ourselves how God wants others to see Him!

Yea, I think it's something really important cause in school, outside, etc. we tend to be different from how we act and behave every Sat. Therefore, no matter what we gotta remember to uphold God's banner with honour!

God is also in CONTROL

We have to remember that in difficult situations, we gotta bear God's banner actively and know that GOD IS IN CONTROL! Again, it emphasises on I have to rely much more on God and not on my own strength!

Well lastly, many battles in life we have to fight, and God will always be with us to fight that battle, cause he already won the battle over SIN!

However, we have to know that THERE ARE DIFFERENT KINDS OF BATTLES IN LIFE, BUT NOT ALL BATTLES ARE FOR US TO FIGHT.

I'm still figuring out how to discern what kind of battles God would want me to fight.

Cell leader said God would most probably put a burden on us to fight for that battle etc.

Hmmm I think it's quite true ^^

When I left
I felt my heart spilt into two~ and the part that ebbed away was you.
I got so scared, when I saw the picture of you.
I did not know what would happen to you.
So I ran, cause I needed to get you back..and I cried, I did not know what to do, when I saw you so in pain.

And I did not know what to say, when you lay there in silence~

So hurt, I just wanted to feel your love. But all I felt was nothing, nothing at all..something's missing, something is just not right, cause I kept feeling that ur slipping out from my fingers..are you?

I just don't know what to feel..

Well, I learnt a very important lesson today.

I thought my faith to God was always quite strong, but today's sermon changed my perspective

I only have 'faith' when I know that there are other possible options

(though I don't really realise them)

However faith is when everything is unseen, and you can't do anything at all... (:

(yea so I shall improve on that!)

I finally learnt the first part of Hymn to the Sea!

Sometimes I wonder if Im placing God where he should be in my life. I opened ur letter again today and I read it once through. Something that you wrote. GOD CAN ONLY WORK WHEN THE PERSON IS IN TOTAL RELIANCE TO HIM. yea come to think of it I depend a lot on human strength human protection...maybe it is really time to lay my sins and weaknesses to someone who I've been drifting further away from these few months..someone I know who can help me in the way that I know I will listen to.

Flu!

Down with flu and fever from yesterday!

So didn't go school today...

Haiz kinda sad >< Can't see my frens, missed geog test, and night class lol><

Anyways, it's quite cool to stay at home,

can finally catch up on some stuff like reading my book and piano!!!

(Though I still gotta do my hmk)

Feeling much better today when I woke up today though :)

Fever still there, but headache is gone!! FINALLY!

It's amazing though, how I 'survived' through NAPFA yesterday hahas

Ok here goes.

I've not been posting randomly (as in bout my life) for a while,

so I shall post stuff that I wanna do, but I guess I'm not accomplishing...LOL

1) I have not been reading my storybook lately, and I keep on finding new and SUPER INTERESTING books to read . (so I gotta catch up!!)

2) Piano prac have been going great so far xD Buuuut I'm neglecting my poor guitar

3) I'm not updating my animal blog recently...my last post should be around last month ><

Yea...and some other random stuff~

1) I wanna study at the airport someday....anyone up for it?

2) I feel like volunteering at the animal shelter during June even though I know it's impossible

3) Strong urge to improve my english even further and prove Aqil wrong...HAHAHA
